Glass is flawless with no marks, haze or separation. Barrel is unblemished, no brassing on the edges. Focus is smooth with the correct damping and the aperture clicks precisely at every stop. The Classic Line reissue of the legendary second-generation Summilux-M 50, produced from 1962 to 2004. Hand-assembled in Wetzlar from 105 individual components in solid brass, not aluminium. 7 elements in 5 groups, 12 aperture blades for unusually smooth bokeh, 0.7m minimum focus, 46mm filter thread, 6-bit coded.
