WATER SPORTS AT SAFLIYA ISLAND Marhaba! Welcome to Qatar! For all aquaphiles at heart, spend a day in your element mixed with a little adventure. The traditional Qatari Dhow will take you to Safliya Island while soft music is being played in harmony with waves of the sea. You get to enjoy the salty breeze and the warm sun. The activities will start after anchoring at the island. It varies from jet skiing, banana and doughnut ride or just plainly speedboat rides. If you just wish to enjoy the waters, you are most welcome to take a dip and swim. BBQ will also be available on board to complete the ultimate beach day. ITINERARY Gathering at Pearl-Qatar, Water Taxi PA-1 (25.364892, 51.540885). A Traditional Qatari wooden Dhow boat will take you to the Safliya Island. Anchor the boat 50-100m far from the Island as there is no jetty to dock the boat. Enjoying the Water sports activities for 2hours between Jet skis, Banana ride, Doughnut ride & swimming. English speaking assistant / companion to conduct the tour & water sports activities. Safety equipment available at the Dhow like: a. Life jackets b. Fire extinguishers c. Radio for communication d. First aid box. e. GPS System. Every participant will be insured (insurance coverage) Bathroom facility available at the Dhow. BBQ meal on boat (menu enclosed) Soft drinks and water.
