About the Role We're building a smart, self-service laundry locker system for residential and commercial buildings letting customers drop off and pick up laundry without on-site staff. Looking for a hands-on tech builder to turn this concept into a working prototype. Key Responsibilities Design and build the physical locker unit: compartments, locking mechanisms, structural layout. Develop the embedded control system: locking, sensors, touchscreen interface. Build the software layer: app/QR-based access, order tracking, notifications. Integrate payment and booking systems. Test, iterate, and troubleshoot hardware and software reliability. Requirements Experience with IoT/embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) Knowledge of locker/vending mechanisms: electronic locks, actuators, sensors. Software skills in app/web development and API integration. Able to work end-to-end across hardware, firmware, and software. Prior experience building smart lockers, vending machines, or similar systems strongly preferred. UI/UX sense for simple, intuitive customer interfaces.
