هذا المصحف الشريف مكتوبٌ بخط اليد، وهو مصحفٌ كامل. وقد كُتب في أواخر القرن الثاني عشر الهجري، بخط النسخ على ورقٍ فاخر مصنوع يدويًا. واستُخدم في تذهيبه الذهبُ وموادُّ وزخارفُ نفيسةٌ أخرى. ويضم المصحف إحدى وثلاثين خَتْمًا (مُهرًا)، نُفِّذت بزخارف من الذهب والمرجان والمينا، مما يجعله من المصاحف النادرة ذات القيمة التاريخية والفنية العالية.
