Sultan gold dinar 1603..1617 AD A very rare Damascus piece by Sultan Ahmed bin Muhammad Khan Written on the front side: “Sultan Ahmed bin Muhammad Khan, may God bless his victory, was struck in Damascus.” On the back of the coin: “The Sultan of Bahrain and the Khaqan of Bahrain, Sultan Ibn Al-Sultan.” Sultan Ahmed Khan is Ahmed I bin Muhammad III, nicknamed Al-Ghazi. He assumed power when he was 14 years old. He is the 14th Ottoman Sultan. Sultan Ahmed Khan was born in 1590 AD.
